A week of coding, creativity, and mindfulness

Camp Start!

Each day starts with fun, low-pressure icebreakers to help kids connect, feel comfortable, and start the day with confidence.

These activities set the tone for a collaborative and supportive week.
Campers dive into the heart of our program: building real apps & games.

Guided by instructors, kids bring their ideas to life by writing real code. Along the way, they build confidence, expand their creativity, and develop problem-solving skills.

Lunchtime is a chance to relax and recharge with friends.

Each day, kids enjoy nutritious, allergy-free meals outside with friends. It’s a chance to laugh, recharge, and fuel up for the afternoon ahead.

After lunch, campers take a mindful pause as they breathe, reflect, and reset before diving back into the day.

Kids practice breathing exercises, stretches, and simple meditation techniques. They discover their inner calm in a way that sparks creativity and feels effortless and fun.

Then comes the wow-factor: campers control physical objects using real code!

Campers take coding beyond the screen by programming real-world objects (like concert lights) to respond to their commands. They’ll experiment with syncing lights to music or creating visual effects, learning how code controls the physical world.

To balance the excitement of coding, we incorporate mindfulness exercises that help campers connect with themselves and others.

Through meditation, deep breathing, and mindful movement, campers learn to cultivate focus, manage emotions, and embrace a sense of inner calm.

With 3D printing, campers design and create real objects they can take home.

Using cutting-edge technology, kids design and print their own custom objects (like keychains or figurines) to take home. It’s hands-on creativity, design, and problem-solving in one.

As the week goes on, campers polish their projects by
debugging, testing, and leveling up their skills.

They’ll test, debug, and play their creations while getting real feedback from instructors. This phase is all about refining their work and making it shine. Creativity and problem-solving take center stage.

End of camp – Everyone's invited!

Show & Tell:
A Celebration of Creativity

At the end of the week, kids share their creations (apps, games, and 3D designs) with family and friends. It’s a proud moment that celebrates growth, creativity, and effort. Confidence skyrockets. Applause is guaranteed.

FAQs

Got questions? We've got answers.

What will my child learn at Zen Code Camp?

At Zen Code Camp, your child will learn the basics of coding, build their own apps and games, design and 3D-print unique creations, and practice mindfulness techniques to enhance focus and resilience. By the end of the week, they'll have real projects to show off and skills that will stick with them for life.

What happens if my child has no prior coding experience?

No experience? No problem! Zen Code Camp is designed for beginners and experienced coders alike. Our step-by-step ‘Missions’ guide kids through coding fundamentals, while our instructors provide support to ensure every camper feels confident and successful—no matter their starting point.

What do campers need to bring with them?

All materials and supplies are provided at camp, including Chromebooks, 3D printing tools, and mindfulness props. Campers should bring a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable clothes for both indoor and outdoor activities. We'll handle the rest!

Can I see what my child is working on during the week?

Absolutely! At the end of the week, we host an App Ceremony where campers present their apps, games, and 3D-printed projects to family and friends. Throughout the week, we'll also share photos and updates, so you can follow along with your child's journey.
